eesy-ic GmbH recertification in the field of quality management
Erlangen , 26.06.2019 - The developer of customer and application related integrated circuits (ASIC and ASSP) is successfully recertified to ISO 9001:2015.
Again DEKRA Certification GmbH confirmed the quality of the company processes to ISO 9001:2015 and therefore the intention to pursue the enhancement systematically and continuously.
The standard 9001:2015 stands for the continuing improvement process at companies and therefore for a sustainable quality management. Dr. Martin Allinger is the quality management responsible at eesy-ic GmbH. Day-to-day, also in his position as head of test and verification, he is directly involved in the development process and is providing checklists and templates for the project leaders, who themselves communicate the additional value to their employees. Valid is the recertification to ISO till June 2022.
Delegation from Estonia visited eesy-ic
Erlangen , 13.05.2019 - Automation Valley Northern Bavaria is publishing an article of the delegation's visit of Estonia at eesy-ic
The Automation Valley Northern Bavaria is an initiative of companies and institutes in northern Bavaria in the field of Automation Engineering. The Chambers of Industry and Commerce in this region are responsible for the coordination of the initiative that has a focus on supporting the competitiveness and the innovation capacity in this specific area. For example they promote future-oriented technology cooperation’s e.g. in the field of R&D.
Representatives of the electronic industry in Estonia visited the trade fair PCIM Europe and SMTconnect in Nuremberg and visited the ASIC Design Company eesy-ic in Erlangen. Dr. Röber, Group Leader RF IC-Design and the Test and Verification Engineer Mr. Oleszczuk have led through the afternoon.
The delegation got insides about the core competencies of eesy-ic, product highlights and did a tour through the offices, labs and the production test area of the 60 man big company.

No flowers but new numbers for eesy-ic GmbH. From May 2019 eesy-ic combines the place of business in Erlangen with telephone numbers of Erlangen. Then, the eesy-ic GmbH can be reached via the number +49 (0)9131 - 682 13 0. These days eesy-ic is working on updating the website, other internet entries, brochures and flyers. A further focus will be the communication towards customers, partners and friends of the company.

At Feburary 26th there will be a live demonstration of the eyICL8P under high-voltage. The IC enables to minimize your design for industrial digital input modules, by meeting the IEC 61131-2 out of the box. Also, the field-side does not require a power supply, which reduces the component count even more. With the integrated galvanic isolation of 500V, there is no need to include additional optocoupler.
At Feburary 27th you will discover the eyADC-DG2. This IC is an analog front end for the evaluation of incremental encoder with sine/cosine outputs. The chip includes two sign comparators which control an internal up-down counter. Additionally, the sine/cosine signals are converted and filtered by continuous time Delta-Sigma ADCs
Last but not least on February 28th eesy-ic will show a digitally controlled frequency synthesizer for FMCW radar systems (funded by BMBF). Based on an All-Digital Phase Locked Loop, it generates a very stable frequency modulated signal in the range of 12 GHz to 12.5GHz which can be configured via an SPI interface. Fast and linear chirps are the groundwork for high precision positioning.

Once again, eesy-ic was rated as innovative company because of its engagement in the field of research and development, awarded by Stifterverband. The Stifterverband represents since 1920 the common responsibility of German companies for a sustainable and valuable society.
The BMBF (Federal Ministry of Education and Research) is the sponsor of the study, which rates the sustainability of the companies in Germany. Moreover the study is showing the amount of money which the German economy has invested in R&D in the year 2017.
