eesy-ic GmbH successfully certified to ISO 9001_2015

Nuremberg, 7/14/2016 – The developer of customer and application related integrated circuits (ASIC and ASSP) extended its high-level standard of quality to ISO 9001:2015.

The company eesy-ic has extended its quality management significantly and is now certified to ISO 9001. Thus the quality of the processes is confirmed and the intention of pursuing a systematic and continuous improvement has been clarified.

Quality orientation playes always a major role in the company. Build in 2012, the company, which mainly focuses on the development of integrated circuits, duplicated its number of employees last year. The almost 50 employees are now able to identify themselves with an employer, who is able to offer flexibility and development opportunities to them like in the past, while also providing clear responsibilities and procedures like a corporate group is able to offer. Highly educated developers located at two sites are working true to the motto „we support one another, learn from one another and pursue our professional development together“ with the purpose to develop and offer innovative poducts and services.

"Due to the accreditation of our quality management processes we are looking forward to face a higher customer satisfaction:„ mentioned CFO Andreas Rother, who has been one of the responsible persons that expedited the certification, „The orientation of this quality should continue to shape every part of the process of thinking and acting in our company.“

Analog-Digital Converter: An introduction

In his new book "Analog-Digital Converters for Industrial Applications Including an Introduction to Digital-Analog Converters", Frank Ohnhaeuser offers an introduction into the topic of analog-digital-converters to the interested reader. Analog-digital converters are the central element of data processing and influence in particular the performance and the resolution of a system or a product. The knowledge of the specific advantages and disadvantages of different converter architectures is for system development engineers important.

After a detailed introduction, Frank Ohnhaeuser addresses valuable topics of state-of-the-art designs as well as research approaches of converters based on successive approximation and delta-sigma architectures for IC- design engineers. Interested readers and students get a comprehensible introduction into the topic of converters as well as into the professional environment through the book "Analog-Digital Converters for Industrial Applications Including an Introduction to Digital-Analog Converters".
